Dr. Shelander has been a dedicated Georgia educator for over a decade. She is NILD trained in Educational Therapy, holds an undergraduate degree, two master’s degrees and a doctorate in Education Leadership. Scholastic Achievement Tutoring and Educational Services was established by her and is a locally based company in East Cobb on Johnson Ferry Rd. Dr. Shelander prides herself in continuing to be 100% hands on in her business and has chosen not to over extend and water down her services by hiring lots of additional tutors (like most companies in the area do) who do not possess the same education, experience and training as herself.

Dr. Shelander’s employs a small select team of tutors that she works very closely with. Quality and consistency over quantity. She personally meets with every client to understand each students’ specific needs to then design a program that will be most beneficial and impactful to that student’s success. She doesn’t believe that one program will work for every student.
Dr. Shelander understands that every student learns a little differently. Every student’s needs and challenges are a little different. At Scholastic Achievement Tutoring every client can rest assured their learning program will be specifically tailored to meet their child’s specific needs. Scholastic Achievement does not implement or believe in mass produced learning programs. Each student is unique so at SATES each learning program is unique.
Scholastic Achievement Tutoring offers top level tutoring, educational therapy and dissertation coaching services while providing unmatched flexibility to meet the demands of today’s hectic schedules. Dr. Shelander offers in office evening sessions throughout the week. Remote sessions by Skype are also offered which work great for short sessions, late sessions, out of area sessions or emergency exam prep sessions. Dr. Shelander’s services and results will speak for themselves so there are no contracts or hourly minimums.
